Over the last two years, I’ve been working hard with my colleagues on the City Council and City staff to move Medford forward, keeping our focus on everyday issues and bringing real results to all of Medford. I know we have more work to do, and that’s why I’m running for re-election. Let’s turn these moments of progress into momentum for the future!


If you’re interested in learning more, here are some of the projects featured on our map that I’ve been proud to vote for.

Funding City Services:

  • $1,500,000: constructing and reconstructing sidewalks
  • $250,000: removing tree stumps
  • $680,342: buying important trucks for DPW and to bring operations in-house
  • Staff Transportation Engineer position and Motor Vehicle Garage Repairman
  • Fire Department:
    • $2,000,000: two pumper trucks
    • $66,065: one 3⁄4 ton pick up
  • $165,000: hybrid police cruisers

Funding Local Non-Profits:

  • $30,000: Housing Families efforts to help low-and-moderate income families in Medford to assist in avoiding eviction.
  • $22,000: the Y; to feed 5,000 food-insecure Medford residents
  • $205,000: SCM Community Transportation; door to door (grocery and medical) service for low-to-moderate-income families
  • $11,000: Immigrant Learning Center
  • $15,000: Action for Boston Community Development’s mobile homeless outreach team

West Medford and the Brooks Estates

  • $35,000: Brooks Estate Access Drive Design
  • $9,000: Dugger Park Tennis/Lacrosse Bounce back
  • $5,000: Brooks School Playground
  • $50,000: Oak Grove Caretakers Quarters
  • $150,000: Shiloh Baptist Church Study and window restoration
  • $42,000*: West Medford Community Center, Elder Services Director
  • $15,000: Evangelical Haitian Church for a food bank and a van; (Investment in Medford’s Haitian community + pathway to citizenship)
  • $90,000 for groundwater remediation at 448 High Street

North Medford/Fulton Heights, Glenwood, Wellington, and East Medford

  • $402,000: Carr Park Pickleball Courts
  • $5,000: Roberts School Playground
  • $500,000: McGlynn Universally Accessible Playground
  • $96,864: Gillis Park rehabilitation, fitness and picnic area
  • $90,000: Hickey Park softball dugout shelters
  • $8,947: Community Families, an Alzheimer’s Day Care program
  • Zoning change approved at 99 Revere Beach Parkway as a start to build more mixed-use housing and commercial development next to Wellington Station, with the goal of using our air rights to continue building commercial and affordable housing in the area.

Medford Hillside and South Medford:

  • $800,000: the Medford Housing Authority for the Walkling Court Redevelopment (Senior and Affordable Housing)
  • Restored 80 and 96 Bus Service
  • $56,258.24: Magan Transport; reducing food insecurity by providing free transport
  • Planned Development District at 100 Winchester St: 65 new housing units
  • Planned Development District at 243 Mystic Avenue: eight-story life science labs

Medford Square

  • $100,000: Chevalier Theatre Façade Restoration
  • $85,000: Islamic Cultural Center of Medford Isaac Hall Study and Window Repair
  • $65,342: Medford Council on Aging, programs for seniors
  • Restored 354 Bus service
  • Created a District Improvement Financing mechanism to attract investors to Medford Square, including plans to develop mixed-use housing and commercial on empty City-owned lots
